The person behind IFYHAIR is Ifeoma Gierer.

I learned my craft as a professional hairdresser in Nigeria, where I spent years working with premium human hair. There, high-quality human hair was never considered a luxury—it was part of professional craftsmanship. That experience taught me how to recognize exceptional quality from the very first touch.

After getting married, I moved to Germany. When I started looking for premium human hair here, I was genuinely disappointed. Much of what I found was either overpriced, of uncertain origin, or simply not the quality I would have confidently recommended to my own clients. The standard I knew from Nigeria was difficult to find.

That is why I founded IFYHAIR.

My goal was simple: to create a brand where women can shop with confidence, knowing every product has been carefully selected for its quality, beauty, and durability.

Today, we work with carefully selected suppliers in Vietnam, India, Cambodia, and Indonesia, sourcing premium Virgin and Remy human hair known for its natural appearance, softness, and long-lasting quality.

Every shipment is personally inspected by me before it becomes available in our store. I carefully examine every bundle using the same professional standards I have always applied throughout my career. My husband often jokes that I’m a perfectionist—and he’s probably right. But my philosophy is simple:

If I wouldn’t use it on my own clients, I won’t sell it to yours.
